Pay up, ya bastards

Go read my friend Kelly's article in the Ancorage Daily News marking the anniversary of the Exxon Valdez oil spill:

Imagine your annual income drops by 50 percent within five years. Imagine herring fisheries bottom out and your income drops another 50 percent the next year. You have a family to support, no health insurance and a shrinking savings account. The boats on which your livelihood depends are boats you can no longer afford to keep.

Now imagine the added stress of being a plaintiff in a lawsuit.
